Talking about toilet habits is personal, so we keep this simple. We never share your data, and we don't access your contacts. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.
What we collect
What you give us. If you use the "Show Bidet Collection" form, we collect your first name and email address. If you email us, we also keep your message and address so we can reply.
Basic site statistics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service. It counts visits and which buttons get clicked (for example, a "CTA Click" event). It doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personal data or build profiles of individual visitors.
How we use it
- To record your request and send you on to a partner's bidet collection.
- To follow up about bidets, if you've asked us to or the form tells you we will, with a way to opt out in every email.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To understand which pages and explanations help people, so we can improve them.
Who handles your information
We don't sell your personal data or give it to third parties for their own marketing. A few service providers process information on our behalf or when you click through:
- Lead-capture and automation service (Pabbly). Your first name and email are sent here when you submit the form, and the service then redirects you to the partner's offer.
- Affiliate network and retailer partners (e.g. Awin). When you click through, the partner and network may use their own cookies or tracking to credit us for a referral. Their handling of your data is governed by their privacy policies, and anything you enter on their sites is collected by them, not us.
- Plausible Analytics. Aggregate, cookieless statistics as described above.
- YouTube. The page embeds a YouTube video. Loading or playing it connects your browser to YouTube, which may set cookies under Google's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We don't set our own tracking cookies. Third parties described above (YouTube and affiliate partners) may set theirs. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your name and email for as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Email hello@stoptoiletpaper.com and we'll act on it promptly. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional legal rights, and we'll honour them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Please check back from time to time.
